The Enabling Sports Fund's 2026 grant call will open from 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026. All applications must be submitted through OurSG Grants portal. (opens in new tab)

About the Enabling Sports Fund
The Enabling Sports Fund (ESF) supports community-led initiatives that make sport more accessible and inclusive for persons with disabilities. When persons with disabilities move, play and compete in sport together, it contributes to a stronger and more inclusive society.
ESF supports both new and existing (i.e. programmes that are currently ongoing but looking to expand) disability sport initiatives. Proposals should benefit persons with disabilities and fulfil at least one ESF focus area.

Enables more persons with disabilities to participate in sport or fitness activities.Sport Inclusivity
Promotes meaningful shared sporting experiences between persons with and without disabilities.Coaching
Increases coaching capacity for disability sport or inclusive sport.Innovation and Technology
Introduces innovative, novel or technology-enabled approaches to address gaps in the disability sport landscape.
Project Eligibility
Your project may be eligible for the grant if it:
involves sport, fitness, physical activity or disability sport participation;
clearly benefits persons with disabilities;
addresses an identified need or opportunity;
fulfils one or more ESF focus areas; and
has the potential to create meaningful outcomes.

Applicant Eligibility
Which applicant category applies to me?
Eligible ESF applications can apply under one of three categories.
Category | Funding Support |

Category A (Non-commercial Entities only) For applicants with experience in organising sport and fitness activities for the target group of persons with disabilities. |

Category B (Non-commercial Entities only) For applicants with limited experience in running disability sport or fitness activities for persons with disabilities, but have either:

Category C (Commercial Entities) For private entities and social enterprises with a formalised partnership with organisations that primarily serve persons with disabilities. Applicants must provide proof of a partnership with the said organisation, and documentation of non-financial contributions to the community, such as volunteer hours. |

Please note:
Funding support is subject to evaluation and approval.
The evaluation panel reserves the right to determine the level of funding support based on the relevance, necessity, reasonableness, and extended impact of the proposal.
