Accessible ActiveSG Gyms

ActiveSG gyms across Singapore are undergoing transformations progressively to cater to people from all walks of life. New and upgraded ActiveSG gyms are fitted with specialised machines suitable for seniors and persons with physical disabilities.

Accessible ActiveSG Pools

Locate ActiveSG swimming pools that are fitted with ramps for safe and gradual entry into the pool. Please approach a Guest Services Officer if you require the use of a pool wheelchair or commode chair.

Calm Rooms

All ActiveSG Sport Centres will have a calm room or equivalent space by the end of 2030. Stay tuned to find out which centres have introduced this.

Gym Orientation for Persons with Disabilities

Selected ActiveSG gyms now offer gym orientation sessions for Persons with Disabilities every first and third Wednesday of the month. The orientation was introduced to help PwDs and their caregivers build confidence in using the gym independently.

Para Sports Community Hubs

The Para Sports Community Hubs (PSCHs) was announced as part of the refreshed Disability Sports Master Plan in 2024. The PSCHs will expand opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sports, from recreational to high-performance levels.
